Coffee

I had my first sip when I was 8 or 9 years old. It was Grandma's plain black coffee; Kopi kampung. I shared with grandma's and I thought it was intense, bitter and sweet but nice.

Then 3 in 1 drinks were popular in the 2000s. I had nescafe when I was in high school. Apart from that, hipster coffee shops were increasing in number. The first cafe that I ever went to was Mode Cafe at Wisma Merdeka. At that time, I was only 16😏. Then we often visited ctbl for coffee and hyatt for the coffee & cakes.

I started working in the late 2000s. That's when everything was attainable. With a monthly salary 'cukup-cukup makan', I was still able to have the taste of cofea arabica. Starbucks was first opened at warisan square and that was also when I started to appreciate coffee. It is undeniably true that I may love Starbucks because of the psychographic attack of its successful marketing strategy, but I must also say that the coffee is really good. Americano and cafe latte; these are the only two that I would order interchangeably.

As of now, I have many sips almost every morning to kick-start my day.  Coffee is the pursuit of happiness. Happiness is the key to success. Coffee -> happiness -> success 😁

Well, let put it this way.

The thing you love -> happiness -> success

While writing this, I'm at KLIA waiting for my morning flight. Just had my latte at McD with a friend that I just met. Now I am looking forward for sahur 🤓
